Leadercath: the Vygon arterial catheter for hemodynamic management
RELIABILITY AND QUALITY SERVING HEMODYNAMIC DIAGNOSIS
The quality of the arterial signal is key in the pulse contour method to determine the patient’s cardiac output. An altered signal induced a bias in the cardiac output calculation and thereby will impact patient care. This means that the arterial line and especially the arterial catheter is the hemodynamic management basis.
Leadercath arterial catheters are made of polyethylene. The polyethylene material used in, whilst flexible, is not thermosensitive and therefore is able to transmit the pressure signal reliably over days and weeks of continuous use, without causing damping.
Leadercath arterial catheters exist from 2cm to 18cm and from 20G to 16G. They are suitable for being used with our MostCareUp monitor, especially the Leadercath code 115.090 (20G – 8cm).
Leadercath are delivered with their stainless steel guidewires and their introducer needles.
Leadercath arterial catheters exist from 2cm to 18cm and from 20G to 16G. They are suitable for use with MostCareUp monitor, especially the Leadercath code 115.090 (20G – 8cm) which is appropriate for radial artery cannulation.
Leadercath are placed using the Seldinger technic and are delivered with their stainless steel guidewires and their introducer needles.
