MostCareUp is a minimally invasive and real-time haemodynamic monitor based on the analysis of the blood pressure waveform for a better therapeutic decision support.
MostCareUp functioning is based on the patented PRAM algorithm (Pressure Recording Analytical Method) which allows the blood pressure signal to be analysed at a frequency of 1000 Hz and providing real-time values of haemodynamic variables .
MostCareUp is a beat-by-beat monitor: every single beat is detected. Each variation on the haemodynamic state of the patient and each reaction to a treatment or administered drug are detected and analysed by PRAM before being displayed on the MostCareUp screen. Therefore, MostCareUp can detect the value of the dicrotic pressure, providing information about the vascular condition and the ventricle-arterial coupling. In addition to this, PRAM method is also able to calculate the characteristic impedance of the cardiovascular system specific to the patient monitored, in real time and continuously.
Thus, MostCareUp is considering each patient as unique, in his own specific clinical condition without any kind of calibration.
